Transfer a domain to SafaHost

1. At your current registrar, turn off the transfer lock for the domain.
2. Ask your current registrar for the transfer code (also called EPP or authorization code).
3. Make sure the domain is more than 60 days old and the owner email at the old registrar works.
4. At SafaHost, search the domain and choose Transfer to us, then pay. A transfer includes one extra year of registration.
5. After checkout, open the domain in Domains and paste the transfer code.
6. Approve any emails from your old registrar or the registry to speed things up.
7. The transfer usually completes within 5 to 7 days. Your website keeps working during the transfer.

If the transfer fails, check that the domain is unlocked and that the code is correct, then open a ticket.
