Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 4 November 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every service and to anyone who accesses services through your account, including your end-users and any AI agents or automated software you run.
1. Illegal and harmful content
You may not host, store, transmit or link to content that is illegal in the Sultanate of Oman, in the country where the server is located, or in the country of your intended audience, including:
- child sexual abuse material or any content sexualising minors (reported immediately to the authorities, account closed without notice);
- pornographic or sexually explicit content;
- content that violates public order or public morals, incites violence, terrorism, hatred or discrimination, or insults religion, as defined under applicable law;
- gambling, betting or lottery services;
- sale or promotion of narcotics, weapons, explosives, counterfeit goods, unlicensed pharmaceuticals or other prohibited goods;
- defamation, threats, blackmail, harassment, or publication of private information or images without consent;
- content infringing copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, including pirated software and “warez”;
- fake news or rumours prohibited by law, and impersonation of government bodies, banks or other organisations.
2. Fraud and deception
- Phishing pages, fake login or payment pages, fake shops, investment or crypto scams, fake government portals, and any page designed to trick users.
- Selling or distributing stolen data, credentials, payment cards or personal data.
- Ponzi, pyramid or “high-yield investment” schemes.
3. Security and network abuse
- Malware, ransomware, botnets, command-and-control servers, cryptojacking, exploit kits or droppers.
- Unauthorised scanning, penetration testing, brute-forcing, credential stuffing or attacks against any system (authorised testing of your own systems is allowed with prior notice to us).
- Denial-of-service attacks or stressor/booter services; IP or packet spoofing.
- Open proxies, open relays, anonymising networks offered to the public, or VPN services offered to third parties without our written approval.
- Cryptocurrency mining on shared hosting or AI-agent plans.
- Attempts to bypass resource limits, account isolation or billing.
4. Email and messaging
- No unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam), purchased or scraped lists, or messages without a working unsubscribe link.
- Shared hosting is limited to 300 outgoing emails per hour per account. Bulk sending requires a dedicated mail service.
- Spam sent from elsewhere that advertises a site hosted with us is also a violation.
5. Resource usage
Shared plans must not use more than their fair share of CPU, memory, processes or I/O, run persistent background daemons (except on Node.js, Python and AI-agent plans), or be used as file storage, backup targets or media streaming platforms.
6. AI agents and automation
You are responsible for everything your AI agents and automations do. They must comply with this AUP and with the terms of the AI providers you use. Agents may not be used to send spam, scrape sites in breach of their terms, create fake accounts, generate illegal content or attack systems.
7. Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without liability: remove or disable content; suspend or terminate services; block ports or traffic; require you to fix the issue within a deadline; charge OMR 25 per hour (minimum one hour) for clean-up work; and report activity to the authorities. Serious violations (child abuse material, phishing, malware, attacks) lead to immediate termination without refund.
Report abuse to [email protected] or use our abuse reporting page.
