Transfer a domain away from SafaHost

Your domain belongs to you and you can move it to another registrar.

1. Open Domains and click the domain.
2. Turn the transfer lock off.
3. Click to show the transfer code (EPP code) and copy it.
4. Start the transfer at your new registrar and paste the code there.
5. Approve any confirmation email that is sent to the domain owner.
6. Most transfers complete within 5 to 7 days.

Good to know

• Domains cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer. This is a registry rule.
• Make sure the domain is not expired and has no unpaid renewal.
• Keep the code private. Anyone with it can try to move your domain.
• Turn the lock back on if you change your mind.
